Final poster has been submitted, all ready. Our session is Wednesday at 1.30pm.
- Some type declarations could be simplified, i.e. split into separate definitions.
- We need new page(s) on loc.gov, probably mostly linking to the resources on Github. Karen will prepare the documents to indicate changes in.
- Defining the URL for the new schema.
- Assuming that https://www.loc.gov/standards/mets/mets.xsd will remain
- PR for splitting up chapters is available. Still a bit of duplication between the sections.
- It shouldn't be a comprehensive documentation of all the elements. We can merge remaining aspects like techMD, dmdSec and amdSec into respective schema-perspective documents. But then also split them into specific topics rather than strictly following the schema structure.
- Will need to coherently update the example, once the structure of the documentation is in place.
- We should ensure the schema is documented properly, a practical example could follow in 2025.
- Bertrand to step down from the Board
- Discussion after iPres to review board memberships and decide whether a call to fill positions should be done.
- We should setup a proper application procedure.
- Version 2 might increase visibilty and interest, implementations and migration options would be things to cover.
