2018 05 03 Board Meeting

Attending: Andreas, Bertrand, Jukka, Karin, Leah, Tobias, Tom
Minutes from the previous meeting were approved.
- Tom has added the profile schema to GitHub
- Tom has created a draft-schema version 2.1 where xml:lang is added to several elements, several elements have been made repeatable and Creative Commons CC0 1.0 license is added.
- The new version will be announced in the METS mailing list for public commenting.
- Leah has started to investigate extender schemas and has created a wiki-list for board internal use to track license, owner and schema file URLs . The info will be added to the LoC hosted page.
- So far only METSRIGHTS is identified to be maintained by METS Board.
- After investigation is completed the METS Board maintained schema files will be added to a new GitHub repository.
- Tom has created a branch 1.12 to GitHub and added any-attribute for agent/note element.
- The change is announced for public commenting in the METS list.
- The issue is continued in the next meeting.
- Tom closes ready or obsolete issues predating the Trello.
- Issue 19 xlink:type missing when using xlink:href in Primer and Overview. Leah will make changes to Primer - we will need to ask Glenn to make changes to the overview page
- Issues 17 & 18: Template for Schema change request: The old template from SocialText wiki was not found. Tom will re-engineer the template from old change requests for the next meeting.
- Board meeting in iPress 2018 : Karin has submitted requests to the iPress organinsing committee. The answers from reviews should come on 25th of May. Meeting issue will be covered in June Meeting.
