Welcome to the Vortex Wiki!

This is the new home for all of Vortex's documentation, both for users and for developers. It's been a long time coming but we've finally started the gargantuan task of centralizing all of the information related to Vortex. It was previously spread across multiple knowledge bases and wikis and really difficult to maintain or add to. We've recently moved our project management to GitHub and documentation was the next step.

Current Progress

Right now, we've migrated everything that was on nexus-mods.github.io/vortex-api/ and on modding.wiki/vortex and redirects should be in place (some automatically) so that external links shouldn't be affected. If anything doesn't work or 404s then please let us know.

This documentation hasn't been checked for quality and/or how up to date it is. Most will be fine although some will be outdated and also repeated. This documentation is at the bottom of the sidebar on the right. As we work our way through the pages and updated\deprecate them, they'll be reorganised into the top half of the sidebar.

Next Steps

• Migrate any relevant pages from the last remaining knowledge base at wiki.nexusmods.com
• Start working through the docs and rewrite\tweak where necessary
• Fill in the gaps with new docs
