  - Voted to reduce the number of owners across organizations
  - Vote passed, this has been implemented
- Merging
  - Vote passed
  - Delay in implementation until committers have a chance to talk about workflows and how best to implement

  - Related: Need to define roles and responsibilities of roadmap group and other Islandora groups
7.x-1.6 release
- Release has gone out
- Last release for Nick Ruest as release manager
- Need to recruit a new release manager for the next 7.x-1.7 release
  - In process - looking to have someone by January
  - Should be a committer
  - Could be useful to have an assistant release manager that can be trained on the release process
  - Nick and Melissa will support in the meantime
- Target release date for 1.7 is April
- 7.x-1.7 will likely be the last feature release for 1.x.
  - 7.x-1.x releases will likely continue past 1.7, at least for bug-fixes and security patches

Interest Groups

Preservation Interest Group (Donald)

- Discussed migration utilities and Islandora CLAW
  - Also discussed fixity - Fedora 4 only support SHA-1 as a checksum method for now
Fedora 4 Interest Group (Nick)
- Started a weekly tech call
  - Every Wednesday at 12pm AT
Documentation Interest Group (Melissa)
- Nothing to report
Dev Ops Interest Group (Mark Jordan)
- Nothing to report
Metadata Interest Group (Jennifer)
- Held a meeting: https://github.com/islandora-interest-groups/Islandora-Metadata-Interest-Group/blob/master/Meetings/Agenda05.md
- Plan to work with Hydra Metadata IG
  - Avoid duplicating efforts, especially around common data modelling
  - Sub-groups will fold in with Hydra sub-groups
- Plan to devote more effort to documentation
UI Interest Group (Rosie)

IR Interest Group (Donald)
- Nothing to report

Islandora Camp updates

Melissa
- Working on CLAW sprints
- Lots of new documentation coming in
- Started paperwork on new member for the Islandora Foundation
Jennifer
- Signed on with Biblionation consortium
Eric
- Going live in May
- Working on reverse-engineering Islandora installation to understand how it all works
- Updating paged-content modules to find complete book rather than each individual page when doing a book search
Rosie
- Working on new Islandora modules that should be released within the next month or so
Donald
- Launched http://data.upei.ca
- Working on climate data project
- Working with 4th year CS students to develop an observation app for mobile and web
David
- Fedora Camp at Duke University next week
- Next camp in California in April

- Share governance amongst stakeholder institutions
