A submodule of islandora_oral_histories references unreleased drupal modules, and was wondering best solution to handle that scenario. Easiest solution is to use git submodules to reference it, so then it's not considered part of the code and can come from somewhere/someone else without worrying about licenses or CLAs.
Security
- Met on Jan 4th and looked through existing security apps ans systems and are looking towards documenting best practices for securing your islandora instance.
Breaking apart Drupal modules for use with composer. Fcrepo specification is moving forward, with a meeting on Monday for fixity in the specification.
Call for proposals is open for another week to encourage higher numbers.
Diego
- Metro will be releasing two new modules to the community. Feedback on choices welcomed. One will most likely be for exhibits, with the second being either for citations or postcards.
Jean Phillips had questions about the CNI presentation:
- Presentation to raise awareness about Islandora, and the big picture and long-term goals.
Jon Green:
- Mentioned reviewing open PRs on Github during committers calls, which has been placed on agendas going forward.
Melissa:
- Two new Islandora Foundation members are coming up, details to be released once everything is official.
Rosie:
- A colleague at UPEI is getting crowdsourced transcriptions for postcards
