Interest Group Updates

  • Documentation IG (Melissa) - Template for documentation pages in the user wiki - will be published soon!

  • Dev Ops (Mark Jordan) - nothing to report.

  • Metadata IG (Jennifer) - discussion of duraspace book club on semantic web and ontology. Will be talking about tools to work with metadata and migration. Authorities sub-group is working on use cases for authorities work in Islandora.

  • IR interest group (Donald) - no report at this time.

  • CLAW - still doing weekly calls; notes here: https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/wiki/2016. Also, Diego is giving weekly CLAW lessons on Tuesdays, audio/video exports will be on the youtube channel when tech issues are worked out.

Islandora Camps

  • iCampFL - nothing new to report. Registrations trickling in.

  • iCampBC2 - going well.

  • Islandoracon - no proposals yet.

Round Table

Rosie - nothing new to report.

Mark Jordan - migration going full-steam ahead; wrote a module to correct MODS or other datastreams that were uploaded wrong: https://github.com/mjordan/islandora_datastream_crud

Mark Baggett - nothing new to report

Kirsta - nothing new to report

David - next F4.5.1 is in release candidate phase, will be released around April 22. Fedora camp is full, running at Cal Tech in a couple weeks.

Melissa - nothing new to report. Three pending new members (no names yet!) We are closing in on our Tech Lead goal (~$30k short).

Carrell: - Is there a product description for CLAW? Sample documents:

Brian: nothing new to report

Nick: CLAW proceeding, Nigel will be doing some work involving Docker/Ansible. Attended LCDX in Stanford (Heil Hydra) and there was discussion of PCDM data modelling.
