Code freeze has happened, and release branches have been created. Still seeking testers and documenters. Only one blocker, which is a islandora_vagrant environment issue and not an islandora bug.
The MIG is still working through the metadata
Last meeting did not have enough members for quorum, but Don Richards did show off his snazzy selenium testing tool, which he will demonstrate at the next committer's call.
Extended testing in progress. Look for a release candidate before Thanksgiving. More details about phase 2 to come in the next meeting.
The project has transitioned to the new Travis app successfully. Several community PRs have been accepted, and https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/issues/888 has landed, giving a more fleshed out form and display and better UX. Soon to come is improvements to the migrations scripts that will successfully migrate Basic Image, Large Image, Video, Audio, PDF, and Collections from 7.x. Metadata is extracted from MODS and subject, geographic, and agent entities are automatically created and linked together. Work has been completed, and once there is sufficient documentation PRs will be issued.
iCamp CA is in the black. Final numbers are stabilizing, registrations are at 26 people.
Dates are Oct. 7 - 11 2019. Planning committees have had their initial meetings. Registration will get opened Novemberish.
- Bryan Brown: New project is live, with an upcoming demo at the next committer's call.
- Don Richards: UTK has gotten approval to look into CLAW. The TRACE project is now up on Github: https://github.com/utkdigitalinitiatives/TRACE
- Gavin Morris: Hacking on ISLE and ready for v2.
- Janice Banser: Special collections has acquired a new poster collection, which will be digitzed soon.
