SettleScape makes use of several plugins to enhance your Minecraft experience.

This article gives a high-level overview of what you can do on this server.

Ranks

SettleScape has ranks. You will have started out as a Wanderer. A main goal of this server is to increase your rank, as doing so comes with many perks.

Skills

You have a number of skills that you will level up as you play the game, and this will provide you with special perks.

Certain total levels (aka, "power level") are requirements for ranking up.

You can check your current stats with /stats.

Jobs

This server has a Jobs-based economy. In SettleScape, every player has one "Job", which can be changed at any time using /jobs leaveall and /jobs join [job]. You can see a list of all jobs with /jobs list. You earn money by performing tasks associated with your job.

Economy

SettleScape has a proper economy. Players can trade with each other using /trade, buy and sell items on the global market with /ah, and set up shops in their own towns with /shopchest.

You can see how much money you have by typing /bal.

Towns

SettleScape is a Towny server. That means that it is centered around player-owned-towns. Towns provide many benefits, such as protecting your builds from griefing and preventing common mobs from spawning. You can found your own town once you reach the Settler rank.

Locks

You have the ability to lock almost any container or door in the game with /lock. Chests, doors, and certain other things are locked by default. You can unlock things with /unlock. Use /cmodify PLAYER to grant another player access to a locked item.
