Except for Aliaksei, who is a professional developer and database administrator, the vocabulary team consists of medical professionals with a profound knowledge of medical informatics.

Name github handle Area of Expertise
Aliaksei Katyshou Aliaksei Katyshou AlaikseiKatyshou Aliaksei maintains most of the logic that does the heavy lifting in vocabulary source ingestion and technical processing. Loops? Errors? Bugs? Turn 100 lines of code into 5? He got you.
Alexander Davydov Alexander Davydov alexdavv Alexander supported the Vocabulary Team as Team Lead for almost three years. The ontology world needs more Alexes to be a better place!
Oleg Zhuk Oleg Zhuk TinyRickC137 Oleg is OHDSI Vocabulary Team Lead. He knows the bits and pieces of SNOMED inside out, is your person to ask everything drug vocabularies-related and simply has the deepest expertise in Vocabularies development and quality assurance.
Masha Khitrun Masha Khitrun m-khitrun Masha is a technical lead of the team. She works through the various flavors of procedure catalogs (HCPCS, CPT4, ICD10PCS, etc.), and keeps them available, mapped and in good shape.
Vlad Korsik Vlad Korsik vladkorsik Vlad is the master of Oncology concepts and takes a fair share in making Genomic vocabularies available. He is also the ETL Vocabulary Tech Lead - he knows everything about caveats of mapping your source vocabularies and data into OMOP CDM and OHDSI Standardized Vocabularies. Wake him up at night and he will tell you all about mappings and data standardization.
Mikita Salavei Mikita Salavei MSalavei Mikita has special expertise in the MedDRA classifications and their connections to SNOMED. He is also interested in new approaches for mappings (stay tuned for new discoveries!).
Irina Zherko Irina Zherko irinazherko Irina has picked the conditions as her main field and is maintaining the ICD family. Thank her for condition mappings we all use!
