Agenda

  1. Glycol concentration is mass fraction. Is this customary, should volume fraction be used, what uses EnergyPlus?
  2. New borefield model. See https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/tree/issue422b_borefield
  3. Block to overwrite and to send control signals via web request. See https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues/926
  4. Library restructuring: https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues/778
  5. Open pull requests and issues at https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues

Participants

Filip Jorissen
Bram van der Heijde
Sen Huang
Massimo Cimmino
Matthis Thorade
Moritz Lauster

Minutes

Massimo said that for heat pumps, volume fraction is more common but a bit ambiguous. Mass and volume fraction are very close. Matthis said refprop is usually using mass fraction.

Michael to check with E+ team.

New models

See also https://github.com/ibpsa/project1/wiki/2018-02-27-expert-meeting-agenda#wp-11

Borefield (New implementation of model)

Massimo demonstrated borefield model and its validation. He will add more validation cases and documentation. Filip could run against Solarwind data.

Overwriting of control signals

Python dependency has been removed. Sen will merge the development branch from https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues/926 to his development and work on the ticket. Target is to have a review next week.

DHC substations

Bram will set up subgroup from DHC validation WP 3 that will work on substation modeling.

Heat pumps

No activity.

Library restructuring

No activity.

Open issues

See https://github.com/ibpsa/modelica-ibpsa/issues

New action items

Michael to check with E+ team whether refrigerant concentration is mass or volume fraction.

Previous action items
