The Woof Engineering Corporation is one of the 4 economic superpowers of the Solar System, and are primarily known for establishing a human colony on Mars with their Aerospace Program's "Patience" 2050 Mission.

Founded in 2042, and with their current headquarters on Mars, the WEC to this day remains the only interplanetary Megacorporation in the Solar System, and the only corporate entity to have complete ownership of all industrial & commercial sectors on a celestial body (in this case, Mars). The WEC has many Branches that focus on a variety of tasks such as mining, commerce & manufacturing around Mars and Europa - this allowed the WEC to gain a key role as one of the Solar System's primary suppliers of Oxygen and Hydrogen, which is mined and processed on Europa.
