The Lunar Kolony Fleet

Background

After TFK were established on Luna, a new, more advanced wave of pioneers began settling on Luna. Known as the LKF, the Lunar Kolony Fleet established bases across the surface and stations in orbit around Luna. Naturally there was conflict between the two factions. LKF offered TFK an alliance, where TFK would be absorbed and their workers transferred to the LKF, offering higher pay and overall safer working conditions. TFK saw this is a slap in the face and began arming their mining stations and outposts. LKF saw this up arming of TFK forces and decided to take over numerous outposts for their safety. They offered the outposts back to TFK forces, but TFK declined and began harassing LKF convoys and supply lines to supplement their loss in material extraction.

Naturally this evolved into very light skirmishes at first. But over time TFK became bitter with LKF naval power in the area and LKF wanted Luna for themselves. REC and TFK allied, secretly at first, by sending each other ship blueprints and examples of their crafts (nanite & arrowhead). However, once exposed, the REC did not officially join the war until the LKF attack on the REC Terran fleet.

Recently an entire fleet was sent against the REC in order to establish jump routes for a siege on Terra. The attack was a partial success, weakening the REC home fleet.
