Session outline

Digital is no longer a fringe or secondary area of cultural heritage management. Yet restitution policies are rarely designed with the digital aspects of restitution in mind, especially with regards to intellectual property rights. This presentation will explore what happens when we centre digital processes and intellectual property rights management within repatriation and decolonisation initiatives, as well as the risks raised by and negative impacts of neglecting them.

Chaired by Valeria Vitale (British Library) as part of the Institute of Classical Studies 3D Summer School.
