Ethical Considerations

Privacy

The user's privacy is protected in this game because we do not collect any information that will invade the user's privacy. Our game simply stores data from the game and does require access to any other applications or records from the user's device.

Discrimination Mitigation

Our Game uses ambiguity to mitigate the chances of discriminating against any group of people. The avatars in our game do not display any type of markings/resemblances that can be derived to represent a group of people stereotypically. Our avatars are colored as to not represent any nationality, ethnic group, or race. They also do not have faces and simply have their astronaut mask. The collectibles in the game are also created so that they do not represent/discriminate against any group of people.

Possible Harm to Other Users

Our game can not be used by a user to harm any other users because the game is not an online game. The user can only see and manipulate (within boundaries) their own data.
