  1. Sprint 003 planning Sprint Spreadsheet available for those who want to be fully or even partially part of the awesome next Islandora-Claw Sprint 003. Also a very nice islandora.ca post by Melissa available. We will handle mostly pending tickets from the previous Sprint and will also developing/building the Collections PCDM Islandora PHP service. Nigel will be on our side during that week, developing on the contracted by the islandora Foundation bash-to-Ansible migration to enable a better Fedora4/Islandora Claw deployment experience for current developers, old and new and future users. Diego will do a basic skeleton project before the sprint, based on the other PHP services we have + add some documentation to this, so new Silex/Symphony/Chullo developers can get quick started on Monday. First/Starting meeting/call for Islandora-Claw Sprint 003 will be held on Monday 18, 11:00 AM EST via Skype. Anyone is welcome to join us even when not signed for the sprint itself. More on IRC #islandora also during that day.
  2. Jared volunteered (thanks!) to test the pending pulls during the next days so we can finally merge. The idea is to keep refining instead of waiting for the perfect solution. https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/pull/126 was already superseded by https://github.com/Islandora-CLAW/CLAW/pull/131 and closed by Nick.
  3. Nigel gave an explanation of the benefits of having an Ansible based deployment of our stack, the different ways this can be also customised for even production deployments, and how play books and roles work. He is already done with the bash migration and will start working on making this part of Docker. Diego, under the "stack" topic asked if we are going/thinking of upgrading our Fedora4 versions to 4.5.
  4. Jared introduced us to an ongoing discussion about Fedora4 HTTP API and transactions. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!msg/fedora-tech/LAsEn46N5N0/4NxVFgjoAAAJ (basically around fully ACID or just atomic and durable "what ever tx flavour this can mean"). There are some functional restrictions on making fully distributed Repositories work with fully ACID. Dani commented that we only need some consistency and happy to drop any complex needs in favour or consistecy and durability. All agreed.
  5. Drupal 8 Not much advances since last talk about this, the document is still there for others to participate on the discussion and give their ideas, still an important topic but we will focus for now in the next sprint tasks.
