Summit will take place online will close (due to election) slightly later on weekend of 12th November

Summary

For anyone that would like to participate this week we will have our online developer summit. The broad aims topics are :

  • Planning
  • Discussion (edited)

Everyone who wants to is welcome to particpate

By the end of the week we will hopefully have a plan of whats been released, what we are ready to release, what we're working on, and ideas for the next cycle. We'd like to have a group wide road map documented by the end of the week.

1 / Bitmark CoreBitmark must have a unique and new center of interest which justifies this cryptocurrency. What made me invest in Bitmark are these new features:- Passport: world class reputation platform

  • DGWv3 with scryptWe should present a roadmap that shows that Bitmark will deliver its "core" in the near future. On the website, I propose to incorporate a nice roadmap, tutorials for using the API, news, etc. It will just need help to create contents. (texts)

2 / Bitmark AppThen, giving value to a cryptocurrency is if it is used. Your ideas are excellent, especially that they should use the Bitmark core to operate. Example data platform like "Storj". So why not present this as the first application that will use the Bitmark Core and can serve as a guide for the community to create other applications ? Browser integration could be a second application.The website should present applications under developement with separate roadmap.

I think we need to emphasize partnerships. This would include implementing marking with more exchanges and working with other coin developers (sia/ storj) in leveraging their technology with BTM 3:01 we need specified teams and deadlines

So I spoke to the decentralized storage folks at Solid yesterday and they told me a way ti integrate quotas, which I want to tie to credits, that would allow features similar to storj / maidsafe, also ability to earn marks by using your spare hard disk or bandwidth at home. I think that's something I can work on.
