Decision Records

Overview

• Any time a systemic decision is made, we should document it with a Decision Record. This will prevent double work in the future and provide clarity and transparency to the reasoning behind the decision.

Instructions for creating a Decision Record

• Create a new page in the Wiki
• The title of the page should start with DR:. For example, see DR: Use an existing add on converter called Docs to Markdown.
• Copy the template below to the page and fill out the details.
• Add the link to the page you created in the appropriate section below
  • If we are adopting the solution: List of Decisions to Adopt a Solution
  • If we are NOT adopting the solution: List of Decisions to NOT Adopt a Solution
