- 13:33 <demory> abyrd mele should we do a quick otp check in?
- 13:33 <demory> it may just be us today
- 13:33 <mattwigway> I'm here too
- 13:33 <mele> sure
- 13:33 <demory> oh, sorry Matt
- 13:33 <demory> hi!
- 13:34 -!- grant_h [d819d3f8@gateway/web/freenode/ip.216.25.211.248] has joined #opentripplanner
- 13:34 <mattwigway> hi!
- 13:34 <demory> mele, grant_h, sorry for lack of updates about the TriMet work -- just got back from holiday travels. But should be focused on this pretty much exclusively for all of the coming week
- 13:35 <demory> some of what I have been working on -- completely reworked call history tracker to include grouping queries by call, expanded the windowing system to allow minimize/maximize/change order/etc., added ability to link to trips. Currently working on preferred route selector
- 13:35 <mele> sounds great
- 13:36 <grant_h> awesome
- 13:37 <demory> i'll update the demo w/ latest batch of updates today or tomorrow
- 13:37 <grant_h> sounds good, a lot of folks are on vacation around here too so I don't think there's too much of a rush
- 13:38 <demory> yeah, i figured
- 13:38 <mattwigway> I've been working a little on support for bike parking, i.e. biking at the start of the trip and then leaving your bike in a storage facility.
- 13:39 <mattwigway> I have it working but I have a few questions about how to support it in plan generation and some questions about OSMGBI
- 13:39 <abyrd> hi
- 13:40 <abyrd> wasn't sure who was around and I just stepped away
- 13:40 <demory> mattwigway, awesome. where does the the bike parking data come from? is that in OSM?
- 13:41 <mattwigway> OSM supports it; it depends on your location if it's actually in there.
- 13:41 <demory> ok
- 13:43 <demory> mattwigway, do you want to talk through your routing questions now or would that be better for a separate discussion?
- 13:43 -!- mjumbewu [[email protected]] has joined #opentripplanner
- 13:43 <mattwigway> probably better in a separate discussion, maybe after the meeting?
- 13:44 <demory> ok -- abyrd will likely be of more help to that discussion than I will, so whenever is best for him
- 13:46 <demory> in any case, before we wrap up the check-in, can we talk about the 1.0 release schedule?
- 13:47 <demory> abyrd -- putting aside the bike parking discussion for now, is the routing side otherwise in pretty good shape?
- 13:48 <mele> grant_h do you know if those bugs you were keeping an eye on got fixed?
- 13:49 <grant_h> mele: do you remember what the issues were
- 13:49 <mele> hm it was that transit center type problem, right? let me try to find it
- 13:49 <grant_h> oh yeah
- 13:50 <grant_h> I documented them and passed them along to dt, but I'm not sure he got a chance to work on them
- 13:50 <mele> hm
- 13:51 <mele> it's kind of a dealbreaker for us though, isn't it? we probably need to get it sorted before we can update
- 13:51 <grant_h> I'll check and see if those test are still failing
- 13:51 <grant_h> one sec
- 13:51 <demory> does this issue have a ticket #?
- 13:52 <mele> i don't think so, grant was just communicating with dt directly about it
- 13:54 <demory> ok. let's ticket it when we get the chance
- 13:54 <grant_h> ok, the tests are still failing and I would agree that's a deal-breaker for us. I'll ticket it right now
- 13:54 <demory> not sure what dt's schedule looks like right now
- 13:54 <mele> thanks
- 13:55 <grant_h> so maybe it would make more sense to do the release after the holidays?
- 13:56 <abyrd> demory, mattwigway, yes I can talk about routing issues
- 13:56 <demory> yeah, i think so. maybe mid-Jan? let's table that discussion until we have more people
- 13:56 <abyrd> but will have another call around 2:30
- 13:56 <demory> ok, anything else for the general check-in?
- 13:57 <grant_h> mele and I are almost done with the mapping portion of the accessibility project we've been working on
- 13:58 <mele> grant_h I'm all done with my hours for it
- 13:58 <abyrd> Nothing much else. Don't know if everyone saw this, but it's pretty cool that they've got official support for OTP in Mumbai.
- 13:58 <grant_h> this map gives you an idea of the work we've done http://www.itoworld.com/map/126#fullscreen&lat=45.48754604233471&lon=-122.73456948168653&zoom=11
- 13:59 <mele> grant_h I think all that's left on the east side is west of the 205 north of Burnside, some of that is already done, and cleanup of the old sidewalk lines we want to trash
- 13:59 <demory> looks great!
- 13:59 <mele> grant_h and i suppose estacada
- 14:00 <grant_h> mele: ok, Bibiana said it was ok to put a few more hours on the bds grant to finish things up
- 14:01 <mele> yeah my 24.5 or whatever is gone now though, should I really go ahead and finish the rest?
- 14:01 <grant_h> yeah
- 14:01 <mele> oh ok
- 14:01 <mele> i'll do that over the weekend then probably
- 14:02 <grant_h> I'm going to try to get most of the rest of the west side done the next couple of days and then focus on the geocoding project
- 14:04 <demory> alright, if nothing else for the check-in maybe we can talk routing and bike parking
- 14:04 <demory> mattwigway abyrd, that still work for you?
- 14:04 <mattwigway> yeah, works for me.
- 14:05 <abyrd> yes
- 14:05 <grant_h> happy holidays guys! talk to you next week
- 14:05 <demory> thanks grant_h, you too!
- 14:05 <mele> & happy new year!
