Location Requirements

  • We greatly prefer to have the location/date locked down by no later than the end of January '15
  • Room set theatre-style for the keynotes and ignite sessions
  • Room set in a large circle, large enough to hold all attendees (targeting 300-500)
  • 6-10 breakout rooms with space to accommodate all attendees during the open spaces.
  • Space for sponsors
  • Space for breakfast and lunch
  • Preferably in the District, must be metro rail accessible
  • Good accessibility features
  • Good wifi
  • Prefer to avoid attendees having to go through security checkpoint
  • Hotel and location for an evening event within walking distance
  • Minimal security procedures for attendees
  • Not a hotel, because of cost
  • Prefer free or inexpensive location

  • NRECA - Jeff

    • NRECA can accommodate up to 500 guests if they take the walls down and make it one big room. They will not be able to have space for sponsors nor the 6-10 breakout areas. Using all 3 rooms goes for $300 per hour and they do charge for set up/ breakdown fee of $125 per day and $250 for AV per day.
