Location

Location Requirements

  • Targeting 450 - 600 people
  • We greatly prefer to have the location/date locked down by no later than the end of January '17
  • Room set theatre-style for the keynotes and ignite sessions
  • Room set in a large circle, large enough to hold all attendees (targeting 450-600)
  • 8-10 breakout rooms with space to accommodate all attendees during the open spaces.
  • Space for sponsors
  • Space for breakfast and lunch
  • Preferably in the District, must be metro rail accessible
  • Good accessibility features
  • Good wifi
  • Prefer to avoid attendees having to go through security checkpoint
  • Hotel and location for an evening event within walking distance
  • Minimal security procedures for attendees
  • Not a hotel, because of cost
  • Prefer free or inexpensive location
  • Onsite catering
    • Local food options for people that want to go off site for meals
  • Onsite staff for things like security, set-up, clean-up, furniture, etc.
  • Good flow throughout the venue for easy access to sponsors and food
