Subject DevOpsDays DC - Sponsor Update

Hello DevOpsDays DC Sponsors!

We are about five weeks out from DevOpsDays. THANK YOU for sponsoring our inaugural DevOpsDays in DC!

We'll be sending a few of messages over the coming weeks to keep you up-to-date on all the latest information you need to know about DevOpsDays. The tl;dr for today's email:

  • Register now.
  • Book your room at the Westin before Monday at 5PM EDT to take advantage of our group rate.
  • Familiarize yourself with our Code of Conduct.
  • Shipping information is below.
  • Attendees and lead retrieval information below.

Registration

Register your attendees with your assigned discount code ASAP. The event will sell out.

Accommodations

Book your travel and accommodations - We have arranged a special DevOpsDays room rate at the Westin. You must book by May 11 at 5PM EDT to receive the $209/night rate. That's this coming Monday!

Code of Conduct

We value the participation of each member of the community and want all attendees to have an enjoyable and fulfilling experience. Accordingly, all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff are expected to show respect and courtesy to other attendees throughout the conference and at all conference events.

Please take a few minutes to read and familiarize yourself with our Code of Conduct.

Shipping Swag

The USPTO, where we are hosting the conference, has very limited space to store anything that you may want to ship in advance. We recommend that you ship your items to your attention at the Westin or wherever you are staying. However, if you must ship things to the USPTO, please limit what you send and have it shipped no earlier than June 1, 2015. Shipments to the USPTO should be addressed to:

USPTO
ATTN: Tim Luepke/ Madison Auditorium Concourse Level
600 Dunlay Street
Alexandria, VA 22314

The USPTO does not have shipping facilities on-site so you'll need to arrange pick-up or return shipping on your own.

Attendees and Lead Retrieval

DevOpsDays DC has capacity for 350 attendees and we are confident that we will sell out. This is going to be a great opportunity for you to meet and have conversations with professionals interested in DevOps.

Sponsors will not be given a list of all attendees nor will we have an automated lead retrieval system. However, you are welcome to ask attendees to participate in drawings or use other means to gather relevant contact information. Like other DevOpsDays events, the best way to make connections will be through conversations with the attendees.

Current registrants include people from the companies in the list attached.

How can we help?

Finally, how can we help make your DevOpsDays experience delightful? If you think of anything, please ask. We will do whatever we can to make sure you have the best experience possible at DevOpsDays.

What questions can we answer for you?

Thank you for being awesome!
