As I understand you are has replaced created_by to spent_at. Please read #36 (comment)

Usually I use this system for calculation of salary by calculating of spent time. So it is very important to exclude any possibility of manipulation with spent time by employee. It is not possible to add information about spent time in past. created_at cannot be changed and I may trust reports built by created_at. But everyone can mark spent time with spent_at in past and then reports will be not reliable.

If you are need reports by spent_at and want to add this function in this repository, please consider way like #36 (comment)

Ok, i'll add a new filter like you've written in issue #36 and then i'll open another pull request.
