The syntax for comma-dangle in .eslintrc was incorrect, which led to this rule being effectively deactivated. I first fixed the syntax but that showed a huge amount of violations throughout the code base so I opted to have the rule disabled.

I can't get the tests to run properly on my machine, so I'm reverting to pushes + Travis to try and figure out why they are failing.
