Are you sure that will do it? I ran it through gdb and everything pointed to general wayland stuff, and it seems to be happening even in a non-snap build of RetroArch (i.e., one that doesn't use the wrapper at all; as tested with 'frame-it') |

I'm not sure about Wayland on Ubuntu Core, but it solves the issue where the first run was from the Linux console in DRM mode even with D-Bus disabled. |

It's a good change either way, so I'll merge it and we'll see what shakes out. :) |
