This PR updates the getting started page, to make it slightly more friendly to newcomers. It focuses on the meta-package epiverse to enable a quick start with all the CRAN released packages, but I do not know whether that is the way to go.

It focuses on the meta-package epiverse to enable a quick start with all the CRAN released packages, but I do not know whether that is the way to go.

I'm not sure it's the way to go, but without feeling super strongly.

As opposed to, e.g., the tidyverse, I somewhat expect Epiverse-TRACE packages to have slightly different target audiences because they focus on different scientific questions and have different degrees of complexity.

From my point of view, the main value at this point is in the analysis of the Epiverse-TRACE ecosystem:

  • dependency analysis: are we using the same dependencies for the same tasks
  • integration testing
