[Mappings editor] Only add defined advanced options to request #194148

Fixes #106006
Fixes #150395

Summary

This PR makes the Advanced options (configuration) form add to the request only the field values that have set values. This works by adding the stripUnsetFields option to the useForm hook (similar to the stripEmptyFields option) which determines if the unset values will be returned by the form (unset means that the field hasn't been set/modified by the user (is not dirty) and its initial value is undefined).

Finally this issue gets the love it deserves! I tested locally and works for the use cases we defined, but I'm a bit thorn about introducing a new known issue. I like the idea of the new Save changes button although it introduces another action the user needs to do to complete the form which might not be ideal from a UX perspective, could this be achived by listening to wizard step changes instead? 🤔

Thanks for having a look @sabarasaba!

I like the idea of the new Save changes button although it introduces another action the user needs to do to complete the form which might not be ideal from a UX perspective, could this be achived by listening to wizard step changes instead?

The reason why I proposed having a Save button is so that it updates the Preview request flyout. If we save the form data on wizard step change, the current changes in the Advanced options form will not be reflected in the Preview request flyout until the user goes to another step.

Hey @sabarasaba, I managed to find an easy fix to the issue that we discussed. I also added some functional tests. Could you take another look when you get a chance?

Awesome work @ElenaStoeva! Code changes lgtm, tested locally. Just left a comment about documenting the new prop as I think will be useful to have in the docs, but lmkwyt

| Multiple Spaces—unexpected behavior in non-default Kibana Space.
| Low | High | Integration tests will verify that all features are still
supported in non-default Kibana Space and when user switches between

| Multiple nodes—Elasticsearch polling might have race conditions

in logical error, but will degrade performance. To test for this case we
add plenty of unit tests around this logic and document manual testing

Alison asked me to take a look at this - otherwise I wouldn't be leaving comments after merge. The code looks good and works well but it would be nice to have some unit tests for it.

Risk Matrix\r\n\r\nDelete this section if it is not applicable to this
PR.\r\n\r\nBefore closing this PR, invite QA, stakeholders, and other
developers to\r\nidentify risks that should be tested prior to the
change/feature\r\nrelease.\r\n\r\nWhen forming the risk matrix, consider
some of the following examples\r\nand how they may potentially impact
the change:\r\n\r\n| Risk | Probability | Severity | Mitigation/Notes
|\r\n\r\n|---------------------------|-------------|----------|-------------------------|\r\n|
Multiple Spaces—unexpected behavior in non-default Kibana
Space.\r\n| Low | High | Integration tests will verify that all features
are still\r\nsupported in non-default Kibana Space and when user
switches between\r\nspaces. |\r\n| Multiple nodes—Elasticsearch
polling might have race conditions\r\nwhen multiple Kibana nodes are
polling for the same tasks. | High | Low\r\n| Tasks are idempotent, so
executing them multiple times will not result\r\nin logical error, but
will degrade performance. To test for this case we\r\nadd plenty of unit
tests around this logic and document manual testing\r\nprocedure. |\r\n|
Code should gracefully handle cases when feature X or plugin Y
are\r\ndisabled. | Medium | High | Unit tests will verify that any
feature flag\r\nor plugin combination still results in our service
operational. |\r\n| [See more potential
risk\r\nexamples](https://github.com/elastic/kibana/blob/main/RISK_MATRIX.mdx)
