A great feature added to end off the 0.8 version with. Bugfixes may still come around on the 0.8 line of versions, but otherwise I'm currently aiming to move to starting work on the NPC Gallery in 0.9. This doesn't mean there won't be more work done on the monster side of things, but my immediate focus will be shifting. 🤖

Features

  • Added a Player Notes section leveraging the collaborative editing capability of the editor so players can write and scribble whatever they want about the creature simultaneously.
  • Added a HideAbilityDescriptions module settings under the Bestiary Appearances menu. Enabling this makes players unable to click open the descriptions of Abilities and Passives on creatures.
  • Actors can now be added to the Bestiary by rightclicking on them in the actor's menu.
  • The Bestiary is now resizable.
  • Added a Reset Bestiary macro. It does have legitimate uses when you just want to clean the Bestiary, but it might also be usefull if something has gone weird in migrations during module development, and you don't mind losing some data to get it fixed right away 🥷

Bug Fixes

  • Putting this down here - style fixes so that the menu's don't get weird with different UI mods.

Some smaller requestes features aswell as some proper handling of Save Slot versioning to future proof them 🤖

Features

  • Added manual reveal of abilities/attacks/spells/saving-throws/skills from right-clicking chat messages if you don't want to use automatic revealing.

  • Added a Reveal Creature and Hide Creature pair of buttons to the Bestiary context menu for revealing or hiding everything on the current creature at once.

  • Added versioning and migration of Save Slots so that they won't break when things change. Kind of forgot about that. 🧠

Pretty chunky release as the 0.8 versions are slowly winding down. New features and neat things 🤖

Features

  • Added keybindings for the Bestiary. You can now set a hotkey for the same functions as the macros: Open Bestiary, Show Monster, Add Monster (GM).

  • Added Action Traits to the creature view, and an optional Detailed Information Toggle setting so that they can be individually revealed by the GM.

  • Added an optional Detailed Information Toggle for the damage type on attacks so that it can be revealed by the GM.

  • Due to popular demand, I changed the light colour scheme for the Bestiary. I'd say it's better now at least 🎨

A new feature and some bugfixes so that new features should work/work a lot better 🤖

Features

  • Added a new module setting under the Bestiary Appearances menu, Detailed Information Toggles section. Enabling Attack Traits lets the GM reveal individual traits of monster attacks.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed so that the AutomaticReveal setting will work even when the system is playing tricks on me and hiding actor objects. 🥷
  • Fixed so that player characters being present in combat doesn't break the Creature Registration setting.
  • Fixed so that player character tokens are not being mystified when the Mystify Token Names setting is on.
  • Returned to old manifest link so that updating the module won't prompt you to update the link every time after this.

World's tiniest patch to appease the Character Gallery gods by removing unmatching styling 🤖
