Updates from Retreat User Test 1

This PR is a collection of updates from Heberto's user test. The problems approached includes:

1. Assumes Python icon simply tells if you have python on your computer
2. Lots of the word “dataset"
3. orange window update available is not on the screen long enough
4. Indicates no directory was selected by the user—but they already did select something…so we don’t need to throw this error
5. Not sure why the SpikeGLXLFP option is disabled
6. Was expecting a warning (on progress bar) that the full conversion would take a while…
7. cannot see the whole error for generating dataset because it is clipped
8. Auto-updating to 0.0.7 resulted in the electron API not being found.
9. Error message thrown from file selector indicates that file / directories not selected—but we know what the user intended to select from the button pressed
10. Strain on the global page doesn’t match the Metadata page

Since we're trying to iterate fast here, how would you like me to group these PR updates moving forward?
