Obtaining WAIL
WAIL is distributed through the projects GitHub releases page. As new versions of WAIL are released, they will be provided there.
WAIL supports the three major operating systems.
- macOS/OSX: .dmg installer or a portable .app
- Linux: compiled binary
- Windows: .exe
For the Linux and Windows users, WAIL relies on the directory structure of the application. To make using the application easier:
- Windows: create a shortcut to the application binary.
- Linux: create a desktop entry.
The macOS version of WAIL is packaged as a self-contained standard .app, which your system will recognize as a single, double-clickable "file".
WAIL is a project of the Web Science / Digital Libraries Research Group at Old Dominion University.
