Distribution

WAIL is distributed through the projects GitHub releases page. As new versions of WAIL are released, they will be provided there.

Supported Operating Systems

WAIL supports the three major operating systems.

  • macOS/OSX: .dmg installer or a portable .app
  • Linux: compiled binary
  • Windows: .exe

For the Linux and Windows users, WAIL relies on the directory structure of the application. To make using the application easier:

  • Windows: create a shortcut to the application binary.
  • Linux: create a desktop entry.

The macOS version of WAIL is packaged as a self-contained standard .app, which your system will recognize as a single, double-clickable "file".
