Collection of virulence and fitness genes associated with Avian pathogenic E. coli (APEC).
Genes were selected based on a literature review for either 1) genes phenotypically shown to play a role in APEC pathogenesis, or 2) genes associated with APEC isolates compared to commensal populations.
