Sequent 8.0 contains big internal changes to restructure the event store to support table partitioning. This way the events of related aggregates are stored together. Partitioning will be optional and configurable.

In order to support this Sequent 8.0 will require at least Ruby 3.2, ActiveRecord 7.1 and PostgreSQL 14. Sequent 8 will provide with a customizable migration script that you need to adjust to your needs.
