Move the send queue and server discovery (optionally) entirely into the library. This would make WindowsZephyr much easier, and might make NatBusting simpler.

Also, for platforms where you don't have good packaging systems but it is still traditional to distribute binaries, you could just download a staticly linked BarnOwl, and presto!
