HID for AVRCP buttons?

Curious if anyone knows how hard it would be to add HID support? Ideally Bluetooth buttons events from AVRCP like play, pause, next track, etc., could be sent to the host over USB-HID.

My main concern is if there needs to be some kind of multifunction/hub support on the USB stack that might be a big lift.
