2023.07 release
This release includes a lot of new features and improvements:
- A working Docker based installation! This automatically sets up: Nginx with HTTPv2 / HTTPS / PHP / reverse proxies for some services, the Conzept apps and services, etc.
- New apps:
- JSON-stat statistics viewer with visualization support using the RawGraphs app
- 3D viewer support
- New datasources: Wikimedia Commons, Europeana, Rijksmuseum, Smithsonian 3D, EU, GBIF.
- Many new topic fields
- new render outputs for structured searching, such as a 2D/3D map.
- Beginning of language variant support
- Grid-view for topics in the sidebar
- Datasource-selections are now linkable by a parameter.
2022.10 release
This release includes a lot of new features:
- The beginning of a flexible datasource system, with Wikidata as the first new datasource added.
- A powerful Command API based on Scheme Lisp, which is now being used for auto-generating presentations.
- Topic headline buttons are now also data-defined in the Conzept fields. Further continuing the work to make Conzept be ever more data-defined and easier to maintain and extend.
- Several new and wonderful apps: Wikimedia Commons, Europeana (temporarily broken), ...
- Many new field definitions to integrate many new 3rd-party websites (total field count is now 10.038)
- Added 30+ UI i18n localization files (supporting almost 40 languages now)
- A subtle random-art-cover image-generator, used for cover-topics lacking an image.
- Many small fixes and improvements to the code and field-workflow (see field utility functions)
