Some SIDs at NZAA, NZQN and NZWN have a 30 degree turn baked into the procedure to ensure divergence as soon as possible. Controllers may also achieve this by assigning a manual heading on departure.

#### Successive Departures to the Same Destination

For successive departures on the same SID and bound for the same destination, allow a minimum of four minutes between them to avoid en-route and arrival sequencing problems down the track. For longer sector lengths, such sequenced departures should not be necessary.
