+Microsoft has released Windows 11 24H2 aka 2024 Update, which is the first major update to Windows 11 since they skipped bi-annual release cadence and simply switched to yearly OS upgrades to streamline better quality control.
+
+Windows 11 2024 is focussed on adding Generative AI aka GenAI with Copilot+ PCs with greater than 40 TOPS on NPUs featuring Intel Arrowlake, AMD Zen 5 and Snapdragon X Plus/Elite SoC/CPUs. The update brings super-resolution for Photos app, generative fill/erase in Paint app, Click-To-Do and Recall.

+The update adds support for the following features:
+
+- Enhanced Battery Saver
+- Bluetooth LE audio;
+- HDR background support
+- Wi-Fi 7
+
+24H2/2024 update also marks availability of LTSC (Long-Term Servicing Channel) 2024 version of Windows 11 made for Business or Enterprise customers.
+
+There are some reports of issues such as Fingerprint scanner not working, Asphalt 8 crashing, Intel Smart Sound Technology driver issue and other issues.
