Welcome to HILS
Hello there:exclamation: We are really glad that you decided to join HILS
This is your launching pad to get started working at HILS lab
Starting to work directly in a research lab can be overwhelming sometimes (we are all humans!). This repository is to help you make the transition into HILS lab more enjoyable.
The repository contains basic things such are introduction to some specific python modules which are heavily used with in the lab, guides, some references to very good journal papers and lot more:exclamation:
- Read the HILS Lab code of conduct. Chat with Dr. Ehsan if you have any questions about lab norms or would like to add or change anything in the code of conduct.
- Feel free to chat with anyone in the lab (may be ask them for a tour around the lab!).
- Ask Sri to invite you to join the HILS lab slack channel.
The HILS Lab meetings are approximately weekly from 2pm to 4pm on Mondays (might change). Members of the HILS Lab are expected to join if they are able and to contribute to the agenda in advance of the meeting whether they are able to attend or not.
- Please read the lab meetings guide for more details.
“Take chances, make mistakes. That's how you grow.” - Mary Tyler Moore.
This is a work in progress...We really hope you can shape and improve this experience as you learn!
