IGDB now powers Twitch!

What does this mean?
IGDB is powering Twitch with data, making it easier to find more accurate categories to watch and stream.

What data from IGDB is Twitch ingesting?
Currently the only metadata that is ingested by Twitch is the game title, cover (also known as boxart), description and categorization data.

I added my cover on IGDB. Will it show up on Twitch?
Twitch covers are now supported by IGDB! In order for the cover to display properly on a Twitch category, you need to upload it to the appropriate IGDB game page. After the submission has been made, it will be sent to a validation queue for approval. After validation has been finalized, your cover should show up on Twitch after 10-60 minutes. Before uploading anything to our database, please read our FAQ and Cover Guidelines.

Why isn't my game showing up on Twitch?
Although your game may exist on IGDB, Twitch has some restrictions on what is being ingested which you can find here. These restrictions are subject to change.

I read the restrictions but I really feel like this game should be on Twitch. What can I do?
Contact Twitch support

Something is wrong with my follower count. Can IGDB help me with that?
IGDB has no control over a specific category's follower count. We recommend reaching out to Twitch support.
