Release Notes

• Added LibGuides search integration to the “Everything” search: The new “Research Guides” section will include the top 3 results from our LibGuides site and will link out to the full search results on the Springshare platform. The search relevancy is currently determined by Springshare’s existing search algorithm.
• Updated “Everything” search layout with addition of new Research Guides section, including: Switching the order of Databases and Journals within the layout; Changing how the sections stack so that the results aren’t clustered in the right corner; Adding a second row for results and broadening the width of the main display
• Added LibKey integration for title-level journal records: When applicable, the availability section for journal records will include a “View Journal Contents” button, which links to the browsable display of the journal in BrowZine. This will only appear in Library Seach if there is an ISSN match to existing BrowZine item.
• Added LibKey.io link to article landing page
• Added “Game” as new resource type value
• Updated search result and availability section styling based on December 2022 release feedback, including: Defining each search result as a box to better delineate each record; Updating the library location headers for the availability section so that it is more distinct from the main record title header on the search results
• Updated availability button styling based on December 2022 release feedback, including: Reverting to the green background for the “Available” button and bolding button fonts; Adjusting the size and width of the buttons
• Updated metadata displays in search results based on December 2022 release feedback, including: Removing the label “Responsibility” from the statement of responsibility displays; Adding hyperlink to Author/Creator values
• Boosted search relevancy for MARC field 386 (Creator Contributor Characteristics)
• Fixed pickup location errors for Rome and Japan items, including: Displaying Rome Campus Library or Japan Campus Library as the only pickup location when the available items are limited to those libraries. If there are other available locations in addition to Rome and/or Japan, adding Rome Campus Library and/or Japan Campus Library to any other domestic pickup locations included.
• Fixed DOI mappings for “Send To” email exports
• Fixed accessibility-related error for bookmarks checkmark
• Updated alert and error messages for greater consistency across site
• Updated Library Search Google Analytics integration to GA4
