v1 is set to release as soon as the following are taken care of:

Update: For v1, our focus will be getting it ready for Manifest v3, everything else we'll handle later, otherwise this extension will never be released. 😅

For after v1 is released:

  • Fix Amazon Prime region bug (or at least display a warning indicating that it only works in Latin America for now)
  • Improve usability by adding some options directly in the popup (or show a tutorial when first installing the extension)
  • Add option to do initial sync (I'm currently working on it)
  • Make update page to display to traktflix users when they update to the new extension

This issue is just to keep track of it.

Given the age of this (and thus presumable difficulty), could you consider already building proper extension artifacts even before v1/release to store? And as far as I see the extension itself is working flawlessly, so I'd like to use it but must admit that I am too lazy to keep installing it every time I restart firefox.

I might just put it on the store with a 0.x.x version or something.

It's in the Firefox store: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/universal-trakt-scrobbler/

The Chrome store only accepts extensions with Manifest v3, so I'm working on making it compatible to put it there.

Is it possible to make manifest v3 just a fork?
Because other browsers are not working good with it yet.

I intend to keep both for now. So far it's been relatively easy to do that, so that it builds v3 for Chrome and v2 for Firefox.
