@amitdo Yes true! It is relevant, but it is (correctly) closed because Æ is added as the issue states. I can create a another issue for adding the other two Norwegian special characters.

I dont know what is supposed to be in the desired_characters file. But this file only contains one Norwegian special char "Æ". Missing "Ø" and "Å"
"Ä", "É", "Ö" is not used in Norwegian.
