Using the Simple English extractor as a base, I tried to make it more generic, with too many comments.

Using the Simple English extractor as a base, I tried to make it more generic, with too many comments.
Because this code is not meant to ever be run, I've opted to make one huge commit. It's mostly copied from the Simple English extractor anyhow.
