Is there anything we can do to get this merged?
I would love to resolve a dependency on my end. Why not do it for everyone. I am not sure what to do but know a little bit of python and would take a look at this if someone can give me a head start.

@tembleking Since it is not clear to me, who is maintainer of this repo the most active one which is employed by Sysdig is a good first guess.
Would you be so kind and take a look at this?
I would help if I get some directions!
