Hi,

I've just recently added Block Navigation toolbar on my EditorsKit plugin. I think this will be of great help on user navigation when both plugins are activated. The toolbar will only be shown on blocks with multiple inner blocks capability.

  • Columns
  • Container

Here's how it works :

Let me know your thoughts.

Thanks,
Jeffrey

@phpbits thanks for the PR. This is a pretty cool feature! Navigating nested blocks is a pain right now.

We haven't added support for specific plugins like this before, but I'll chat with the team about this and see what they think. I'd like to see this feature added to WP core!

@mindctrl You are very welcome :) I'm really glad that you like it. Yeah, the core should have this navigational option but I think they are more focused on other areas right now. I'm actively participating on the Gutenberg repo and slack chat channel though, if they want to include this feature, I'll be very happy to create a PR :) Some of EditorsKit features are already coming into core too ;)

Let me know how it goes and if you have any questions or suggestions please let me know. I'm planning to add custom naming to the blocks on navigation modal so users can easily recall which is which. Thanks!
