This release officially introduces Story Protocol's periphery contracts, which includes:

  • The Story Protocol Gateway (SPG), a periphery module that can be used to simplify UX around registration of IP, including registration of off-chain assets that do not necessarily exist on-chain
  • A minting engine, which the SPG extends, for allowing users to create managed collections that enable mint-and-register functionality with customized NFT and IP metadata
