We have build an open source network to visualize the particular matter and the noise pollutions in the whole world: Sensor.Community.

One can build the PM-sensor / noise-sensor according to the instructions on the website https://sensor.community/ and then connect it to the map. This project is promoted by the Open Knowledge Foundation Germany through the OK Lab Stuttgart.

Last year I developed the second version of the map using principally node.js and d3.js. I also translated all the documentation of the project into French (it was then the first translation even before English). I added some sensors in the firmware and developed some custom ones. Last but not least, I coordinate and help the French speaking Partners : Ambassad'Air in Rennes, Respire in Paris... and all the individuals who have built a sensor.

Otherwise I also like to visualize the funding of science in Europe (CORDIS data) or sonorize the Global Terrorism Data Bank.
