Productivity / Generators
- Built DeepL Translate GitHub Action for easy translation of files, in hopes that more devs will include internalisation (i18n) in their projects. Gave a talk about it.
- Built Mini Qr for anyone to create custom QR codes easily.
- Built Scrollbar Playground for devs to learn about scrollbar styling and wrote a tutorial on how to create their own custom CSS playground in vanilla JS
- Built Unfork, a convenient app to help you remove all your unused forks and declutter your repositories on GitHub. Mentored over 10 PRs during Hacktoberfest 2023 while participating as a project maintainer.
Learning
- Built Billy, an expense tracker app with extensive documentation on how the open source project is built, and also presented a talk on it to share about an open-source Firebase alternative, Supabase.
- Maintainer of awesome-supabase, the official awesome list of resources for Supabase.
Other open-source project contributions in the past
2022
- Fixed android app crash due to null pointer exception from reanimated library on Coding Machine's React Native Boilerplate, and also reported about a flipper bug that causes crashing.
2021
- Contributor story was featured on Digital Ocean's Hacktoberfest Recap 2021
- Wrote Tutorial that featured a game API genshin.dev
- Wrote Tutorial that featured Sourcegraph, and fixed a UI bug for them
- Fixed bugs & icon sizes for Super Productivity
- Migrated a vue2 UI component library twenty-twenty to vue3
Before 2021
- Wrote lots of meeting minutes for community events and set up instructions for community workshops in the form of gists & READMEs.
Goals
- Improve frontend development skills through side projects & open source projects
- Enhance the value of open source repositories even more with better documentation, try out new libraries & report found issues. If it's stuff that I know how to fix, I will help to fix it directly or learn with you to fix it π
