Releases: sks316/MusicBot
Version 0.4.3-bypass-fix
This release fixes status code 403 errors in YouTube playback by updating the YouTube audio source manager version to 1.8.2. This release also resolves failing builds caused by JDA-Utilities being removed from the Maven repository, by switching to a fork of JDA-Utilities known as JDA-Chewtils. Thank you to @G4-Synix for bringing this issue to my attention and helping me fix it!
Remember, don't report issues caused by unsupported usage. They won't be fixed by me or jagrosh.

Original changelog:
This release fixes some YouTube playback issues and adds the seek feature, alongside some other minor improvements.
- Switched to a new YouTube source handler internally that should be more stable
- Added the
seek
command and the ability to request songs starting at a specific timestamp
- Starting a song from a specific timestamp is done with the same format that YouTube uses, a
&t=123
bit on the end of a URL. Copying a YouTube url that starts from a timestamp should work in JMusicBot now.- Seeking within a song can be to an exact timestamp, or forwards/backwards using a
+
or-
and then an amount of time.- Allow setting the log level and eval engine in the config (mainly for advanced users)
- Allow setting the maximum number of YouTube playlist pages that can be loaded (in the config)
- Reverted the change to make the bot self-deafen because self-deafening doesn't actually reduce bandwidth (see jagrosh#1554 for details)
- Minor changes to some log messages

Version 0.4.0-bypass-ytfix
This release resolves broken YouTube playback by switching to lavalink's new YouTube audio source manager, as documented in jagrosh/MusicBot#1552. Fixes #2.
For those who prefer to use Docker, there is now a Dockerfile available, as requested in #1. Usage instructions are in the README. It is based on Craumix's Dockerfile and was modified by me to be easier to use.
As this is a modified release resolving issues caused by YouTube, do not report issues with YouTube playback to upstream until 0.4.1. Report them here instead.
Remember, don't report issues caused by unsupported usage. They won't be fixed by me or jagrosh.

Version 0.4.0-bypass
Bypass version of release 0.4.0. With this fork, you can use JMusicBot as a public or verified bot without the bot exiting, you'll just get an error message reminding you that this usage is unsupported.
