Overall LGTM! Would be nice to include a reference to https://github.com/sigstore/gh-action-sigstore-python indicating that it exists and has been updated to use the latest version as well.

Unless others have feedback suggestions, I think this is locked in on my end! The OpenSSF is going to coordinate their own copy of this post. In terms of publication times: does anybody foresee any problems with trying to publish this circa 9AM US ET on 2023-09-29? That will give us time to prep the actual releases the day before + give the OpenSSF a time to synchronize their own post against 🙂 |

This blog post announces the (pending) release of sigstore-python 2.0. It's currently dated to 9/29, since that's the expected release date.
