Installation

The easiest way to install houdini-pbrt-v3 is to unzip (or git clone) into your $HOME/houdini16.5 directory.

This is not a requirement and any location in the HOUDINI_PATH will work.

Alternatively you can install it to any location you want and set the HOUDINI_PATH environment variable directly or use the houdini.env in your $HOME/houdini16.5 install directory. A sample houdini.env would be -

# houdini-pbrt-v3
H2PBRT_INSTALL = "/mnt/storage/job/soho_pbrt"
HOUDINI_PATH = "$H2PBRT_INSTALL:&"
